WE WILL CRAFT A CUSTOM FINISH THAT WILL SUIT YOUR STYLE AND BUDGET

WHAT IS A FAUX FINISH?
Faux finishing or faux painting are terms used to describe decorative paint finishes that simulate other materials such as wood, leather, stone or metal. The term comes from the French word faux, meaning false. However, this term has become an umbrella name to describe all painted decorative finishes.
Faux Finishes such as glazing, marbling, and wood graining have been used throughout history. Through skillfully applied techniques, you can highlight architectural details, or camouflage utilities and add elegance or flair to any surface.

REVIEW
We found Divine Arterior Design when googling for artistic wall treatments within a 50 mile radius from our home in York County, PA. We were impressed with the website we found and were able to schedule a consultation within a few days. Monica was able to understand what we were looking for in treating our walls to complement the new tile floor & countertop in one of our guest bathrooms. When she delivered the sample boards, all would have worked beautifully, but we did choose one of the interpretations which she executed in less than two weeks. Her work is very creative & original and upon completion, our bathroom was clean and ready for us to install the bath hardware & accessories. It has become one of our favorite rooms of the house! She creates beautiful spaces and we hope to engage her talents again soon for other areas in our home.
